Going ahead in the market, Mediaman is climbing its ladder of success. With a well-calculated decision to emerge as a strong national distributor, the company had expanded their tie-ups to further ESET range of anti-virus products and Internet security products in the last fiscal year. Also, in the fiscal year 2009-10, the company has tied up with AVG from Czech Republic and added a new principal 'Coolpad' from China, which has accounted in accelerating its foothold in the telecom product market. Further, about 15 percent from its revenue came from the new software addition, US-based Iolo Technologies that designs software for repairing, optimizing and protecting Windows computers; and AVG. In the last fiscal year, Mediaman had a tie-up with Swiss Travel products as its exclusive national distributors, which has laptop bags, accessories, universal power charges etc. This helped the company to reach out to discerning buyers and fill the gap between high and low profiled products.

In view of the increasing opportunities and market size, the company has decided to add few other security vendors to its existing range of portfolio.

The company associated with SNDT Technical University for e-cell, a technical lab and also added Transcend JetFlash 620 USB drives in its portfolio. Having achieved a stable growth figure, Mediaman now plans to pay emphasis on its own brand, Bravish, as about 20 percent revenue came this brand itself. The product range includes laptop accessories. The company is aiming at securing one of the top three positions in the accessories segment. The distribution house is into the service business and has laptop service center called The Laptop Notebook Lab. Strengthening and expanding its branches, Mediaman is now focusing on B, C and D-class cities.
