Gela Tida Infotech
Though overall FY10 was nothing to write home about, What was noteworthy was Gela Tida's QoQ growth over the year during FY10. Gela Tida Infotech
has pitched a turnover of Rs 3.4 crore in JFM 2010 which is an increase of Rs 50 lakh from the previous quarter. In the AMJ quarter 2009, the company made about Rs 2.7 crore and then shot up to Rs 3.2 crore in JAS quarter. Due to slowdown, Gela tida came down by Rs 30 lakh and slipped to Rs 2.7 core in OND quarter. Apart from distribution, the company's main revenue comes from reselling. This constitutes almost 30 percent of its total revenue and 20 percent comes from retailing.
SOHO, SMB, BFSI, government and education have equal distribution of about 10 percent each. While critics might carp about Gela Tida not having enough focus on one vertical, having such a well distributed spread is indeed creditable for a mid-range solution provider.

Gela tida deals with a host of companies from Dell, Intel, Acer. 2009-2010 proved to be a significant year for the company because it opened three new branches in Andhra Pradesh. Gelatida has also taken up Acer laptop distribution and won the 'Overall Champion' award from Intel. The company believes that it has achieved the growth only because of its service, customer support, product availability and pricing.
